Though his death was widely reported to be a drug overdose, his official cause of death has been "deferred" by the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office. According to local reports, a petition was even passed around to request that the name of the playground be changed to "Mac Miller Blue Slide Park".
Miller released his latest record "Swimming" on August 3, and was recently in the headlines following a charge of DUI in May after he crashed his auto into a pole in Los Angeles.More news: Plane carrying body of Pakistani ex-PM Nawaz Sharif's wife reaches Lahore

Only a tiny amount of white powder was found when cops searched the home and law enforcement told TMZ that they believe the house was swept clean to hide evidence of drug use.
Miller's body was transported to his hometown of Pittsburgh on Wednesday for his funeral. Mac deserves to be sent off with an evening of celebrating his life, discussing his struggles, and remembering his stories; most importantly for his iconic work that brought joy into the lives of everybody who listened. "But he loves you all, he loves Pittsburgh and everything that you have done for him".
Pasternake, who also played basketball with "Swimming" rapper, took to Instagram paying tribute to Mac Miller.
