Elizabeth Tulloch Cast As Lois Lane In the CW’s DC Superhero Crossover

Although Lois herself has not appeared on Supergirl, her sister did.

The Arrowverse has found its Lois Lane!

Stop the presses! The Arrowverse has landed on its Lois Lane for this December's crossover event and she's got a Grimm past.

In addition to Grimm, Tulloch's previous credits include Concussion, Portlandia and Quarterlife.

According to Deadline, ex-Grimm lead Elizabeth Tulloch is hitting The CW's streets as the award-winning Daily Planet reporter. At this point, however, it's unclear how Lois will figure into the story - mostly because the CW still hasn't revealed what the crossover is about. "Now, at a time when the noble profession of journalism feels under siege, it's a privilege to join the club of actresses who have played the dogged reporter", she wrote.

The 2018 DC-CW crossover airs December 9, 10, and 11 on CW. "This dogged, determined and courageous reporter will make for a strong partner to Superman and unbelievable addition to our universe of DC characters", Supergirl executive producers Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter last month when the casting search began.

As reported earlier, this year's Arrow-The Flash-Supergirl crossover is set to feature the introduction of Ruby Rose's Kate Kane/Batwoman and the return of Tyler Hoechlin's Superman/Clark Kent, who will be bringing Lane along for whatever Oliver (Stephen Amell), Barry (Grant Gustin) and Kara (Melissa Benoist) have gotten themselves into this time.

Intrepid journalist Lois Lane has been part of the Superman comic book mythology since the Man of Steel's first issue was published in the summer of 1938. Hoechlin's Superman will be featured in all three episodes of the mix-and-match live-action television franchises that feature characters from the pages of DC Comics. The Walking Dead star Xander Berkeley is coming to Supergirl as Agent Liberty's father, according to TV Insider.
