Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Teaser Promises Satanic Fun

Not only do we still have a soft spot for the old sitcom starring Melissa Joan Hart, the modern Sabrina comics are really good.

The series will launch on Netflix on Friday, October 26, just in time for the Bank Holiday Weekend - and for Hallowe'en.

This is NOT the Sabrina the Teenage Witch from the 90s, y'all!

A woman sings a chilling rendition of Happy Birthday as the teaser begins with a flash of cryptic images of the Spellman Mortuary and Sabrina at high school.

Netflix dropped the creepy trailer with a super spooky version of "Happy Birthday" playing in the background, and though it definitely gives us more questions than answers, we're dying for this show to release.

In the wickedly dark trailer, Shipka as Sabrina is shown celebrating her birthday with a bizarrely dark birthday party. The one-minute teaser clip looks more American Horror Story: Coven or Salem in occult vibe and aesthetic - a mortuary, a coven of witches, terrifying demons, and some sacrifice and spells thrown in. Since it's going to be based straight from the Archie comics of the same name, we can expect it to be much, much darker.

The baptism photo also features Lucy Davis as Hilda Spellman; Miranda Otto as Zelda Spellman; and Abigail Cowen, Adeline Rudolph, and Tati Gabrielle as The Weird Sisters.

It then shows Sabrina (played by Kiernan Shipka), her family and the human world they inhabit under threat from evil forces, set against the backdrop of teenage life.
