Kojima is no stranger to hammy, albeit fun dialogue and falling in line with otherwise typically introduced boss fights, however Death Stranding fooled many into thinking this would have been a turning point for the developer. Game director Hideo Kojima shared two versions of the new scene on his Twitter account after it debuted at Tokyo Game Show 2018: the English dub with Troy Baker (whose many roles include Sam from The Last of Us) playing the antagonist, and the Japanese with Satoshi Mikami (who you've probably heard before if you watch subtitled anime).
It was back at E3 2016 when Kojima unveiled footage of his first post-Konami project. To compensate for the disappointment, though, Kojima Productions has released a brand new trailer for Death Stranding that reveals a mysterious man in a golden mask, as well as a terrifying beast.
As for the Man in the Golden Mask, he looks like a sinister counterpart to Sam, with a similar hooded outfit and even his own weird little baby pod (though his glows red).More news: Power returning after Environment Canada confirms two Ottawa tornadoes

We know Death Stranding is an action game with "some degree of freedom", and that it uses Guerilla Games' Decima Engine. A release date has not yet been announced.
