Apple says new iOS will help battle smartphone addiction

In light of the recent release of the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR.

We just took a peek at the official accessory page, and all iPhone X cases by Apple are gone, as the phone has been discontinued, while the ones listed for the XS aren't cited as compatible with the X for the same reason.

The iPhone 6S and 6S Plus were unveiled in 2015 and it was evident Apple would kill the handset sooner or later.

The pricey iPhones disturbed fans so much so, that Apple stocks started plummeting after the launch event. It also makes me anxious about Apple's new pricing structure, which, in the case of the iPhone, uses a lower-priced smartphone neutered in some important ways to strongly suggest users buy the more expensive, more capable device.

Based on Apple's listings, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus is priced at RM2199 and RM2749 respectively while the generation after that, the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus is valued at RM2899 and RM3299 respectively. Moreover, Apple locally assembles iPhone SE and iPhone 6S models in India.

However, avoiding Apple's requisite dongle, which enables users to plug 3.5mm headphones into the Lightning connector, is now impossible. Schiller did not that due to the limitations on eSIM availability in China, Apple will be releasing special models of the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max in China that provide support for two physical SIM cards in a single slot - one on each side of the SIM tray.

The firm infamously remarked that it had the "courage" to move away from the headphone jack, prompting some ridicule from users.

The operating system will also allow people to designate "down time" when iPhones or iPads can't be used - perhaps a child's bedtime or a grown-up's meditation hour. You're out of luck, at least if you want one straight from Apple.
