Yerry Mina ready to 'fight' at Everton after Barcelona struggles

According to a report by French publication L'Equipe, Manchester United are interested in signing Kurt Zouma before Thursday evening's transfer deadline.

An Everton statement said: "Kurt Zouma has joined Everton on loan until the end of the season".

And Mina is determined to show his quality in the Premier League, adding that the chance to play alongside Gomes and Lucas Digne - who made the same switch last week - played a part in his decision to join the Goodison Park side.

It might be hard for him to get regular playing time at Chelsea this season, so sending him out on loan makes sense.

The United boss is hoping to sign at least one more top class player today with a centre-back the priority and the Manchester giants have reportedly failed to agree terms for the likes of Harry Maguire, Toby Alderweireld, Jerome Boateng and Yerry Mina in recent weeks.

To date, he's featured in no fewer than 71 outings for the Blues, collecting two Premier League winners medal in the process, whilst registering four goals.

Manchester United are not expected to sign Diego Godin, who is expected to sign a new contract with Atletico Madrid.

"What they are missing at the moment is harmony, but if he can find that and get all his good players smiling and happy, they will be very close".

Mourinho was the Chelsea manager when Zouma arrived in 2014, and he seemingly has a lot of belief in the Frenchman, although it's hard to see how he will boost his options in the short-term.

Another player Everton signed in the summer transfer window is Colombia worldwide central defender Yerry Mina.
