Urban had been in the Garden State as part of his Graffiti U tour and performed at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden later that night.

In line at Wawa, her good deed paid off and she came face-to-face with one of the biggest stars in country music.

When she remarked that he looked like Keith Urban, he said he was.

"And he said, 'What's your name?' (I said), 'Ruth, '" she said.

"Three years ago, I made a resolution to treat somebody at Wawa once a week", she said.

When she spotted a man at the register who seemed to be short on cash, she jumped at the chance to help.

As Olivia Prouse, a former student of Reed's, wrote on Twitter, Reed thought Urban was "down on his luck and couldn't pay for his Wawa snacks so she bought them for him".

Keith Urban was buying some things at an New Jersey convenience store when a local teacher offered to pay for him without even knowing who he was. "Then, he asked a young lady for $5 and I thought, 'This is it.' So I said, 'No I'll get it'".

She was finally convinced after noticing bodyguards. Really? Then where's Nicole?

Unconvinced, Reed turned to his body guard and asked for confirmation.

"And I just fell apart, fell apart", she said.

Reed says Urban stuck 5 dollars in the donation box at the register and happily took this picture with her.

Reed, who is very shy, has been getting a lot of attention over her interaction with Urban.
