Two Barcelona stars to join Premier League club after 'passing medicals'

The 14-times capped Brazil player was available after his contract ran out with Shakhtar in June, and opted to move to the Premier League with the Toffees. He is Everton's second Brazilian signing of the summer after the arrival of Richarlison from Watford.

Yet Mina failed to impress in making just six appearances for Barca after joining from Palmeiras in January and the Catalan giants were keen to cash in on the 23-year-old, who cost just 11.8 million euros seven months ago. However, the Red Devils seem to have cooled their interest, preferring to focus more on the likes of Leicester City's Harry Maguire and Tottenham Hotspur's Toby Alderweireld.

Gomes joined Barcelona from Valencia in 2016 for (£31.46) €35m but has struggled to nail down a starting place at the Nou Camp.

On the other hand, Barcelona seem to have established a good relationship with Everton, after Lucas Digne successfully completed a move from the former to the latter.

Barcelona have found Gomes an escape after a torrid time with them.

"FC Barcelona and Everton FC have reached an agreement over the transfer of the player Yerry Mina". "It's been a long, long saga has the Yerry Mina saga". "It looks as if Everton have won the race to win the Colombian centre-half".

Shortly after the transfer of Mina to Everton, the loan deal of André Gomes also to Everton was made public.

"I can promise I will try my hardest and dedicate myself to my work and to trying to make things happen for Everton", Bernard added.
