Samsung Note 9 Release Date Leaks

Update: Samsung just accidentally published (and quickly pulled, SamMobile saved) the below official Galaxy Note9 video. In the video, the company also teases great battery life, and it confirms that the Galaxy Note 9 will 1TB of storage, while confirming microSD card expansion, which more or less confirms the 512GB Galaxy Note 9 model (512GB of internal storage + 512GB added via a microSD card).

We now know nearly everything there is to know about the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, but a new leaked video directly from Samsung may have just spoiled the final secret - the storage.

Hours ago, Samsung's New Zealand channel posted the Galaxy Note 9 intro video that reveals key details as well as the device and we're still a week from its reveal. While we don't know pricing, Samsung itself said the price will be "reasonable," though without naming names.

DJ Koh was seen using the Galaxy Note 9 in a photograph from a media event.

The marketing image of the device had the headline: "Say hello to super power". The page, first spotted by Evan Blass, reads, "Say hello to superpower" and invites customers to preorder and be "one of the first to experience it". It was revealed in the previous month through a firmware leak that S Pen exists in colors like black, gray, violet/purple, blue and brown which suggested that Note 9 may also arrive in same color variants.

Samsung will be announcing the Galaxy Note 9 - and possibly the Galaxy Watch - on the 9th of August in NY. A variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB / 512GB storage is also expected.
