Red Dead Redemption 2 shows off 6 minutes of in-game footage

There's a lot to unpack here so it's best to simply sit back, watch, and request some serious time off work in late October to do nothing but play Red Dead Redemption 2. Are many of you looking forward to Red Dead Redemption 2?

Rockstar has just blown the lid off Red Dead Redemption 2 with the very first gameplay trailer, and as expected, it looks phenomenal.

Tomorrow's gameplay reveal should highlight quite a few things including the game's seamless open world, its believable, living NPCs, gunplay and action sequences, and possibly a taste of the storyline. That segment of the trailer ends by saying it's up to you decide just how honorable Arthur Morgan is. You'll continue to build out the base as the game goes on from there and improve it beyond its initial iteration.

So far, we know that that Arthur Morgan is Red Dead 2's protagonist. If you have yet to pick up a copy of the game, there's still time to pre-order the game on Amazon ahead of its release this fall.

Red Dead Redemption II will release on 26 October, 2018, for Xbox One and PS4. Those who will not surrender or succumb to the law are killed. The video implies the Van der Linde gang will be driven from various territories over the course of the story, but the footage makes the camp look like a thriving community. Rockstar has confirmed we'll be getting more gameplay videos before launch, with the next one focusing on missions, activities, enemy gangs, robberies, and the evolution of the Dead Eye system.
