Meghan Markle turns down invitation to Emmy Awards

From their adorably embarrassing nicknames for one another, to the super sweet thing Harry whispered to Meghan at the altar (need to find us a single prince like that), you could say they've got this modern royal love story thing down.

The make-up guru has been working with Meghan for many years, and knows very well her preferences. She'd be nothing without me.

Neither Meghan Markle nor her royal flunkies have reached out to her father to try and heal a growing rift, her half-sister has revealed.

Although she was quick to button up the garment, critics on Twitter were just as quick to claim the non-incident was a "deliberate" attempt on the Duchess' part to steal the wedding party's thunder on the special day. "The vacation is filled with barbecues, hiking, and shooting, although it is unclear if Meghan will learn the sport that Kate has picked up from various visits".

However, an additional source had a different story: "Meghan and Harry know that she only received an invitation because it's good for Emmy ratings, which haven't been the greatest in the last 2 or 3 years". It's a new chapter, right?

As disappointing as the news might be that the Emmys will be Meghan-less this year, the Duchess will have made the decision herself rather than conforming to any royal protocol.
