Magician unveils Santi Cazorla at Villarreal in utmost freaky fashion

"All the suffering has been worth it for this moment alone", said Cazorla, speaking after being magically beamed into a glass box at his presentation at the Estadio de la Ceramica.

The Spanish club unveiled Arsenal icon Santi Cazorla in one of the most freakish fashions ever seen in football.

However, a bloke in a waistcoat works his magic and before you know it the smoke fades and Cazorla becomes visible.

If the fans thought Manchester United's unveiling of Alexis Sanchez was unique (remember video showing Sanchez playing United's anthem on piano), Villarreal have clearly upped the ante in that department.

The freaky presentation started off with an empty capsule on a platform inside the Estadio de la Ceramica before it began to fill up with white smoke on Thursday evening.

As the smoke vanishes from the chamber, Cazorla miraculously makes his way out of the chamber, which was previously visibly empty.

The 33-year-old, who already has more than 200 games under his belt for Villarreal, returns to La Liga after injury blighted the end of his Arsenal career.

A year later he signed for Arsenal, where over the proceeding six years he won the FA Cup twice.

Cazorla hung around after the stepping out of the glass cylinder to wave at the crowd and sign autographs.

"It's a club that for me is an example and that always does things well despite the difficulties".
