The upcoming movie won't heavily focus on Sharon Tate's murder, that's just the backdrop of the story, but it was going to be released on the exact 50th anniversary of Tate's death - August 9, 2019.
The film, which is due for release in 2019, is centred around the "Manson Family" murders of 1969.
Sharon Tate was almost nine months pregnant with her husband Roman Polanski's child when she was brutally killed by the Manson family.
