First look at Margot Robbie in 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood'

The latest comes from Margot Robbie, who stars in the movie as the late actress Sharon Tate and used Instagram on Monday to share an image of herself in character.

Quentin Tarantino's upcoming film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is slowly coming together, with sneak peeks and set photos giving fans a few telling glimpses at the period piece.

Tate's sister, Debra Tate, initially spoke out against the forthcoming film but recently tweeted that she gave the famous director her blessing after reading the script.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt have also both confirmed their place in the film, with the first look pic released of the movie featuring them leaning casually against a wall. "I'm proud to fully support his film".

Manson Family members Charles "Tex" Watson, Susan Atkins and Patricia Krenwinkel butchered Sharon at her and her husband Roman Polanski's Los Angeles home in August 1969 - leaving the word "PIG" scrawled on the front door in Sharon's blood.

In addition to Robbie, DiCaprio and Pitt, the film also stars Timothy Olyphant, Luke Perry, Damian Lewis, Dakota Fanning, Al Pacino, Emile Hirsch, Clifton Collins Jr, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Keith Jefferson, Nicholas Hammond and Scoot McNairy. "And I couldn't be happier about the dynamic teaming of DiCaprio & Pitt as Rick & Cliff".

The upcoming movie won't heavily focus on Sharon Tate's murder, that's just the backdrop of the story, but it was going to be released on the exact 50th anniversary of Tate's death - August 9, 2019.

The film, which is due for release in 2019, is centred around the "Manson Family" murders of 1969.

Sharon Tate was almost nine months pregnant with her husband Roman Polanski's child when she was brutally killed by the Manson family.
