Blackberry released the most secure smartphones on the Android OS

Now the company and its Indian manufacturing partner Optiemus unveiled the new Evolve series in India.

There's a brand new BlackBerry in town. The company behind the devices had successfully held on tightly to most of the specifications and hardware details.

Another area you'll find a difference is in the price. The devices bring together the power of Android and the trusted security of BlackBerry and reinforce Optiemus Infracom's commitment to deliver innovative and powerful smartphones to Indian consumers.

Camera - BlackBerry Evolve sports a 16MP selfie camera and a 12MP+13MP AF dual rear camera with Dual Tone LED Flash. The Xiaomi Redmi 5A has a Snapdragon 425 processor. We spent some time with both the smartphones and this is what we think of it. In fact, the Helio P60 is a rather premium offering from MediaTek. I don't know about you but I would welcome some more BlackBerry phones stateside. While UK prices and availability hasn't been confirmed yet, it'll cost the equivalent of about £280 in India when it hits the shelves there next month. It doesn't have wireless charging like its fancier sibling, nor does it have 6 GB of RAM. The BlackBerry Evolve X smartphone will available in black color only. BlackBerry Evolve comes loaded with 4GB RAM + 64GB variant which is expandable up to 256GB memory (through micro SD) making it an ideal device to store data, images, and videos. Surprisingly, even the Redmi 5A matches the Evolve in terms of screen size. Blackberry Evolve and Evolve are impressive smartphones with a powerful combination of technology and aesthetics.

BlackBerry has always been known for its signature QWERTY keyboard. If BlackBerry smartphone users want a full-screen smartphone with virtual keys, there are dozens of options to choose from instead of the Evolve. Both phones are also the first BlackBerry smartphones to offer face unlock functionality.

Both the phones will be running on Android 8.1 Oreo.

With this, BlackBerry is once again stressing on privacy and security aspect of Android.

For the front, you get Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, which means that it can resist scratches when you put in your jeans.
