Before the Belmont Stakes, the horse's owners, primarily WinStar Farm, China Horse Club & SF Racing, negotiated a deal with Coolmore to sell the horse's breeding rights for $60 million.
Justify captured the Belmont Stakes by 1 3/4 lengths Saturday to become just the 13th U.S. Triple Crown champion and second since 1978.
"Our focus was on each race as they came up", Walden said after unveiling Justify's Triple Crown banner inside Belmont Park.
"I'd like to see John win the race!"
If Justify remains healthy and sound, Baffert will have plenty of options to map out his summer and fall campaign, with the obvious goal being the Breeders' Cup Classic on November 3 at Churchill. Remarkably, Justify did not have his first start until February 18th this year and has quickly become the pin-up horse of American racing.
"To achieve a result like this, how do you beat it?"he said".
Baffert had fretted after Justify drew the No. 1 post, a spot he detests for his horses. Baffert has won 14 Triple Crown races, equaling the all-time total of legendary trainer D. Wayne Lukas.
The big chestnut colt with the appetite to match burst onto the national scene with a 2½-length victory on a sloppy track in the Derby. He conquered the slop on May 5 to become the first horse since 1882 to win a Kentucky Derby without having raced as a 2-year-old and followed that feat with a damp and daring Preakness victory through soupy fog on May 16 that sent him to NY with the crown on the line. Baffert, 65, had less than a year to train Justify who suffered a minor injury and didn't race his second year.More news: Primary elections in SC: What you need to know

After winning the first two races earlier this year, Justify was the clear favourite to win Saturday's race in Elmont, New York. But Smith confessed that Espinoza's Triple Crown journey three years ago actually helped him Saturday.
"He just came on there, and he broke every curse there was", he said.
Field was trackside for the final leg of the Triple Crown in NY as Justify continued the incredible partnership of WinStar, the China Horse Club and SF Bloodstock, which started in Australia.
Jockey Mike Smith, 52, is the second-oldest Kentucky Derby victor behind Bill Shoemaker.
"It'll be a Triple Crown victor that'll be remembered for ever", said Gunther "It's just unreal". Instead of thanking the horse's owner and the trainer, the very first thing he told NBC while being interviewed on horseback following the race, "First of all, I want to thank my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ".
There were a few bids made by other horses turning for home. You know, I was meant to get this horse. But he shot out with a fury, took a 11/2-length lead at the quarter pole and never let a challenger get closer than that.
Among those expected to be on hand is New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski. He took his hand away to give Justify a periodic breath, then gave him a squeeze when he wanted more.
