Recently, Jenkins told ET that she's excited to show audiences a different Wonder Woman.
Barbara is a British anthropologist who, after locating the lost city of Urzkartagan and stumbling into an ancient ritual, becomes the avatar of their Cheetah god.
The photo sees Wiig as Cheetah's mortal alias, Barbara Minerva. We've gotten multiple leaked set videos showing Wonder Woman's incredible speed, a tease of what we think is the Invisible Jet, and even Chris Pine just dancing with some fans.More news: Mexico and South Korea

The release confirmed that Pine - whose character, Steve Trevor, died in the first movie - would return. In every incarnation of the character, Barbara has some connection to artifacts - usually as an archeologist - and while the photo doesn't give any clues to how Wonder Woman 1984 will approach the character or here eventual transformation into Cheetah, earlier this month it was reported that she will start out as Diana's friend before becoming her foe.
The upcoming sequel sees Gal Gadot once again taking on the role of Wonder Woman after the global smash hit original a year ago. The universally acclaimed film was a smash for Warner Bros. and is now the highest-grossing film with a female director, as well as the 22nd-highest-grossing movie of all time in North America and the third-biggest movie of 2017 after "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" and "Beauty and the Beast". Pedro Pascal ("Game of Thrones") is also joining the cast.
