Kingdom Hearts 3 Release Date Announced


Microsoft showed off a new world for Kingdom Hearts III during its Electronic Entertainment Expo event today in Los Angeles. The Disney/Final Fantasy mash-up sequel will be out in January 2019.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is the hotly anticipated conclusion to the Xehanort Saga that started with the original Kingdom Hearts game, released in 2002 and was first officially revealed with a trailer at E3 2013. "I'm sorry that we're asking for a little more time than initially planned", a statement over the official Kingdom Hearts Twitter account reads. He added that Square Enix will release "a few trailers" and other information for the game at E3.

To be made available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, gamers can look forward for the release of Kingdom Hearts III on 29 January 2019. Fingers crossed that it doesn't get delayed between now and then. The gap between Kingdom Hearts 3 and Kingdom Hearts 2 will be just over 13 years. Because Square Enix announced it on Saturday June 10.

Nomura has noted that the game will have another playable character besides Sora.
