Kevin Durant says he would consider retiring at 35

With every successful season Durant has as a member of the Golden State Warriors, it must hurt Westbrook more and more as he realizes he's stuck on a roster in OKC with an overpaid Carmelo Anthony, a Paul George that's about to dip, and nearly no chance of winning a championship as long as the Warriors are around. At some point, you have to be ready to graduate.

He could sign a max five-year deal in July.

Durant thinks he would be satisfied with his career if he did end it at that point.

"I wouldn't say we have figured it out". Dirk Nowitzki, for example, will turn 40 before the start of next season and he plans on playing for at least one more year.

Speaking on the latest edition of the Lowe Post podcast today, Coach Kerr admitted it had been hard at times to gel Durant's style of play with two-time MVP Curry's motion offence. There was about a minute left in the game in regulation-Game 1, down to the wire.

His business partner, Rich Kleiman, told ESPN that Durant told him in the past the he could retire at age 35. We don't know who will be drafted where, or what star free agent will be signing with what team just yet, but in the interest of being thorough, let's take a look at the five teams most likely to win the 2019 NBA Finals. "I have no idea how that'll play out. Hell yeah I can move on", he said.

Although he has been in the National Basketball Association since he was a 19-year-old rookie on the Seattle SuperSonics, Durant says he can imagine his life apart from the game and leaving it when he turns 35. "No matter how many points I score, no matter how many people I pass up, no matter how many points I leave on the table, my legacy, as we always like to talk about, I can go up and ask any person who has ever seen me play and they'll have a different way of viewing my game". Nothing to me was that, like, shocking but yeah we went through some stuff.

"But I will focus on the people that love me the most, that encourage me, that pour into me and vice versa".
