Trump is scheduled to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un on June 12.

Although her guests did not catch her gaffe instantly, Huntsman was called out on social media after the footage was released on Sunday. With Trump riding on a fresh wave of controversy after his rather short appearance at the G7 Summit in Canada, and his following Twitter tirade against Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, it would be interesting to see how the USA president would handle a face-to-face meeting with one of the most volatile leaders in the world.

Fox News host and the daughter of the US ambassador to Russia, Abby Huntsman, apologized on Sunday for calling US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un "dictators".

During an interview with former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci, Huntsman interrupted to noted that Trump had arrived for the summit in Singapore.

The meeting has been downplayed by Trump in recent days.

President Trump referred to the summit as a "one-time shot" and Kim told Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong that "entire world is watching". He can take that nation, with those great people, and truly make it great.

"Absolutely I believe this too, and will know within 60 seconds whether I am going to play Trump, or totally play Trump".

"That moment when a Fox & Friends host accidentally calls Trump a dictator and no one even bats an eye", a user wrote. I'll never claim to be a flawless human being. Huntsman would acknowledge her words later on in the episode, apologizing: "On live TV sometimes you don't always say things perfectly", she said, adding that she "did not mean to say that".
