Anthony Bourdain's renowned travel and food series Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown just got a much-appreciated extension on Netflix.

As the celebrity chef's legal next of kin, Ottavia Busia-Bourdain is in charge of decision-making, including over his remains which have been in Kayserberg-Vignobles, France since his suicide death last Friday.

"Some fans have noticed that Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown was scheduled to come off Netflix US on June 16", Netflix wrote on Twitter.

"His brilliant, fearless spirit touched and inspired so many, and his generosity knew no bounds", Argento said.

McGowan shares that when Bourdain and Argento met, it was "instant chemistry" but that, sadly, the two both battled depression.

Bourdain's ex-wife, Ottavia Busia, shared a photo on Instagram of their child, Ariane, appearing on stage at a music venue in NY.

She ended the note with a heartbreaking farewell to Bourdain: "I hope you are having a good trip, wherever you are". "In the beginning of their relationship, Anthony told a mutual friend, 'He's never met anyone who wanted to die more than him.' And through a lot of this past year, Asia did want the pain to stop".

"She was incredible", Busia-Bourdain, a mixed martial artist and former restaurant general manager, continued.

On Friday, it was reported the 61-year-old chef had been found dead in a French hotel apartment.

Ariane Bourdain made a special nod to her late father - famous for his dry humour and witty disdain for pretentiousness - when she stepped out to perform for an audience wearing the rock-n-roll, studded leather boots he once gave her. "I am beyond devastated".

McGowan said Argento had unfairly faced blame in the aftermath of Bourdain's death.

"My thoughts are with his family", Argento said. Such a bad word to write. "I would ask that you respect their privacy and mine." o CNN also commented on his death. "Blame is not that conversation".

She described the couple's relationship as "free".

"Although they're separated, she'll be in charge of whatever happens", the 88-year-old said. I don't think I'm deluding myself.
