All signs point to ‘Fortnite’ being announced for Nintendo Switch soon


Fortnite appears to be finally coming to Nintendo Switch, if certain leaks are to be believed.

The listing for "Fortnite" on Nintendo Switch from GRAC. "(Attack expression using various weapons against human and extraterrestrial life forms)". Providing the document is real, Fortnite may make a surprise appearance during Nintendo's E3 2018 video presentation, alongside the other games listed: Dragon Ball FighterZ, Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, FIFA 19, KIller Queen Black, Starlink: Battle for Atlas, Paladins, Overcooked 2, and Mario Tennis Aces.

The world's most popular game popped up on the Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee database overnight, specifically listed for the Nintendo Switch. The ultra-popular battle royale game also features cross-play between the various platforms its available on, with the exception of PlayStation 4 to Xbox One gameplay. Iron Galaxy helped Bethesda port Skyrim to Switch a year ago and worked alongside Epic to develop Fortnite's mobile version.

Kotaku's sources also confirm Fortnite's coming Switch port via unnamed Epic Games sources, saying "a person familiar with upcoming Switch games" has confirmed Dragon Ball FighterZ's port as well.

E3 2018 gets under way on June 12.

Fortnite has taken the world by storm in 2018 and is now available on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and even iOS. All of this, in addition to the fact that Fortnite is a total no-brainer for Switch (just as it was for iOS and Android) has us convinced a reveal isn't far off.
