The developers showed a new map for Rainbow Six Siege

As far as operators go, there will be a few key changes that occur. Ubisoft announced today that interested but uncommitted gamers will be given full access to all maps, modes, and Operators at 10 am PT/1 pm ET on May 17. The house is their retreat, where they lead a lavish lifestyle and collect rare art pieces. The land belongs to the Vinciguerra, a risky crime family known for their smuggling activities.

Ubisoft will reveal more details about Villa and Operation Para Bellum on May 19 and May 20 during the Pro League Finals Twitch stream.

Operation Para Bellum will introduce two new Operators into the mix (including Alibi), as well as a Pick & Ban system that allows players to boot certain Operators from play.

What we do know is that Ubisoft will be making balance changes to some of the existing operators in the game, including giving Echo a second Yokai drone that can be used during a match. Year Three Season Two of the game will bring a breath of innovation and many more to the game.

Small increase to movement speed with handguns out.

I do wonder if this is something that was actually in dire need of adjusting or if it was just something the developers wanted to balance themselves?

The Rainbow Six: Siege free weekend will run from May 17 through May 20 and is available on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
