Suspended Pennsylvania teacher shot, killed in mother's driveway

She died at the scene. Police have ruled the death a homicide.

DelTondo subsequently spoke with The Beaver Countian in December 2017, and said the relationship was merely a friendship.

On May 14, 2018, in an otherwise a quiet lane in Beaver County, one of the DelTondo's neighbors counted six gunshots being fired outside the family's home.

Another neighbour, Dan Casper, added: "I don't know why that happened. She didn't hurt anyone".

DelTondo was an elementary school teacher at Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School, an online public school in Midland, until she was suspended in October 2017, Brian Hayden, the school's CEO, told Fox News.

Officials at the school received an anonymous tip-off via email in October 2017 that claimed that she had been involved in an incident in which police found her in a parked auto with a student who was 17 at the time, reports the Daily Mail.

"It's shameful that this woman was painted with a police report that had been written that did not result in criminal charges", Lozier said.

DelTondo was engaged at the time.

They've been canvassing the neighborhood, reviewing surveillance tapes, and have sent DelTondo's cell phone and others to a lab in Harrisburg to unlock the data, texts and communications.

She also said 'she didn't want her fiancé to know that she was here parked because he would get mad'. No charges were ever filed.

Since DelTondo was never charged, her name wasn't released. The email did not include any evidence of messages between the two individuals and it's not known if the existence of these messages has been verified outside of the email.

A Pennsylvania teacher is gunned down at her family's home - but there's more to the story. She was suspended with pay. However, investigators have not revealed information about the case at this time.

Hayden said he was not aware of the incident until he received the email.

The report concluded that "Deltondo was advised that there was better places to just talk with a former student", and further stated that the responding officer hoped not to find her in the same predicament again. A meeting between the Aliquippa Police, state police, and district attorney is expected on Tuesday (May 15) morning, and a statement is expected at that time.

'We have no additional information beyond what is being reported by local media. "We express our sympathy to her family and coworkers and will support them in any way possible in the weeks and months ahead as they mourn her passing". "Ms. DelTondo was employed by PA Cyber but on a paid suspension".

A 32-year-old female teacher died in a hail of gunfire, and now police are saying it was murder. However, the check never came in the mail, so the family reached out to their local KDKA-TV reporter, Marty Griffin's segment, "Get Marty". Her mom, Lisa DelTondo, bought her a $10,000 wedding dress from Anne Gregory Bridal in Dormont.

DelTondo reportedly put a $4,600 non-refundable deposit down on the custom dress. But four months later, DelTondo and her fiance called off the wedding.
