The Chinese smartphone company has been teasing specifications of the phone for quite some time now.
The major highlight of the device is the new glass design at the back with company's horizon line along with an iPhone X-like notch on the front. The OnePlus logo below the fingerprint scanner is also in the same color.
Which is good news as the giant display will be a drain for the 3,300mAh battery. The OnePlus 6 now comes in three different colors, and with three distinct models that have different amounts of RAM and storage. The best variant in terms of storage is the 8GB+256GB that comes at $629 and the Midnight Black option. The Avengers model, which offers 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, has a price tag of 44,999 rupees (~$664). But you'll have to pay 4,199 yuan ($660) for it a 200 yuan ($31) premium over the regular model that offers the same specs.
Magnus McDonald, director of product and category management at O2: "As the exclusive United Kingdom partner for OnePlus we are really excited to be part of another fantastic launch, this time, of the OnePlus 6".
Aesthetics: 155.7 X 75.4 X 7.75 mm, 177 grams. Unless you intend to use your OnePlus 6 to store tons of local media and massive games, you aren't likely to fill up even 128GB.
OnePlus has officially launched its OnePlus 6, one of the poorest-kept secrets in the smartphone sector over the past several months.
The OnePlus 6 sports a metal and glass design. This, as you would imagine, helps maximise visual real estate on the smartphone, with less space taken up on the front panel for things apart from the display.
OnePlus 6 Launched; Features A 6.28-inch Screen With Notch And Full Glass Body
Let's start with the cameras.
The phone has a dual cameras on the back.
Thanks to less cluttered software through OxygenOS, both the OnePlus 5T and OnePlus 6 will be running smoothly no matter what.
OnePlus 6 will be available for pre-order from may 22. 4K Video recording is supported upto 60 fps. The secondary camera has a 20-megapixel Sony IMX376K sensor and a telephoto lens, with a 1-micron pixel size and f/1.7 aperture.
The 16MP front shooter has EIS and supports Portrait mode powered bu advanced AI algorithm to correctly judge the depth of field (DoF).
Another major difference between the two smartphones are the displays. There is only a small notch at the top of the device.
Processor: 2.8GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 10nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 630 GPU. The Bullets Wireless earphones come integrated with Google Assistant support and a unique feature called Dash Charging. Unfortunately, there is no option to expand the storage via microSD card which might disappoint some users.
OnePlus has its own customised Android software called "OxygenOS" which is one of fastest operating systems now available. The Oxygen OS based on Android 8.1.0 looks polished and comes with some really neat features and can be upgraded to the Android P beta version too.More news: Nadal cruises into Italian Open third round, Thiem exit
