A serious accident on Route 80 in Mount Olive at about 10:30 am. - one that involves a loaded school bus from Paramus - has forced the closure of the highway, prompting Roxbury police to warn drivers to stay away from the area.
Images taken at the scene and posted to social media show the bus on its side in the median with heavy damage to the front end.

The smash-up happened on Route 80 near Exit 25 in Stanhope just after 10 a.m., NBC - New York reported, citing New Jersey State Police.

Students were reportedly from a middle school in the Paramus school district. The accident occurred on Route 80 in Morris County. "I can only describe it as horrific", Greenbaum said.
According to United States media, 10 people have been taken to the Hackettstown Medical Center, 10 have been taken to St Clare's Hospital and others have been taken to the Morristown Medical Center.
State police said that an unknown number of children were on the bus, but they didn't know how serious the injuries are.
The National Transportation Safety Board is gathering information on the crash, a spokesman said.
