"This Is America" dethrones Drake from the top spot in the process. The song will finally replace Drake as the top artist on the chart, who possessed the last two number one songs in "God's Plan" and "Nice For What". So far on YouTube, the video has racked up 110 million streams around the world, and it is the first No. 1 song by Childish Gambino, the alter ego of the actor and musician Donald Glover. The video earned 85.3 million views in its first week on YouTube, making it the biggest first week debut of any video this year and #1 on the YouTube Songs chart in 11 countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and more.

Singer-songwriter Childish Gambino says he avoided the internet after the release of his latest song "This Is America" as he is really sensitive about negative comments.

Billboard reports that the music video for "This Is America", which now has over 110 million views on YouTube, accounted for a whopping 68 percent of the song's total streaming.

The track is also at the top of the Streaming Songs and Digital Song Sales charts.

The track also topped Billboard's weekly chart of digitally downloaded songs with 78,000 downloads. Donald Glover laid bare the conversations that are often being held outside of the music world, and delivered them through haunting imagery and in a form even White America couldn't ignore.

Glover's critically acclaimed FX comedy series, "Atlanta", wrapped up its second season last week after he hosted and performed on "Saturday Night Live" the previous weekend.
