The next smartphone by BlackBerry will be called the Key2 and will be launched on 7 June in NY according to this new teaser by the brand on its official social media channel. And while nothing was official back then, it looks like BlackBerry is ready to start teasing the device in a more official capacity. The event will take place in NY.
Following on from last year's KeyOne, it's thought the latest Blackberry will have a dual-lens camera, and of course, that physical keyboard that is so intrinsically linked to the brand's image. The tweet includes a teaser that reads, "An Icon Reborn". This is the same smartphone which was spotted on the Chinese certification website TENAA that revealed some possible specifications of the BlackBerry Key2. The image also shows the launch date of KEY2, which is June 7, 2018. Further information also revealed that the device supports 4G LTE and comes with dual-SIM slots.More news: Allardyce sets Everton transfer rumour straight - 'Let's put this right'

As far as rumors are concerned, the KEY2 is said to feature a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C port for charging, but otherwise we don't know anything else about the upcoming smartphone.
The QWERTY keyboard on the BlackBerry KEY2 is likely to support gestures and a multitouch-supported display that is expected to come in 3:2 aspect ratio. The BlackBerry Key2 is a successor to last year's BlackBerry KeyOne that boasts premium build, Android OS out-of-the-box, and the standard BlackBerry QWERTY keyboard. Also, there are some rumours that the handset will debut with a Snapdragon 660 SoC, coupled with 6GB of RAM, and Android Oreo.
