Bad if Neymar joins Real: Messi

The La Liga giants have been linked with a controversial move for former Barcelona forward Neymar in recent weeks and months but it seems Real have switched target to his PSG team-mate Mbappe.

He added that "it is okay that he went the way he did, he won an important title here, he won the Champions League, won the Spanish league".

"Position by position, Madrid have the best players in the world", Messi told TyC Sports".

"If he ends up in Madrid it would be a tough blow for us and for all of Barcelona".

Messi believes that Real Madrid have a unique ability to win games when they play badly like no other side in world football.

When asked if he was open to a move from Barca after playing for the senior team for 14 long years, Messi said, "I am not tempted to leave Barcelona".

Brazilian fans are crossing their fingers that the world's most expensive player will be 100 percent fit for their team's bid to win a record-extending sixth world title in Russian Federation. Barcelona have lost in the quarter-finals in each of the last three seasons but they have still been formidable in the league.

Despite that, he remains happy at Nou Camp after signing a new long-term deal previous year and said he can't imagine himself ever leaving.

Brazil had breezed through qualification, and Messi admitted they will start the tournament among the candidates to win it.

"As a group, they work well, and they have great individuals".

However, the Ligue 1 champions are in danger of breaking UEFA's Financial Fair Play rules after they found out that £175m of sponsorship deals were found to be significantly overstated.

"Thank God I have this further opportunity, this further chance, to try to be a world champion for my country, which is a dream that I have had since childhood", Neymar said. They're a well-tuned unit. I will not be better anywhere else, this is the best team in the world.
