Backstreet Boys drops new single, music video in five years


The Backstreet Boys thanked fans Wednesday on Twitter after "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" became a trending topic.

Marking their 25th anniversary, the band have unveiled the single and its official video directed by longtime BSB collaborators Rich + Tone.

"Don't Go Breaking My Heart" (not the Elton John song) has a nice hook, and the group's choreography in the music video above provides nostalgic comfort ― with some dad-style panache.

Don't Go Breaking My Heart was recorded after the first leg of the group's record-breaking Backstreet Boys: Larger Than Life Las Vegas Residency.
