YouTuber Adam Koralik released a video today with additional information about the upcoming Shenmue I & Shenmue II HD collection coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC later this year following a chance to check out the titles with SEGA in Japan. It has also been revealed that lots of graphical improvements will be making their way into these Shenmue games, but bear in mind that they will not be full on HD remakes or remasters.
It has been a few years since Shenmue 3 was first funded on Kickstarter, and while news has been slim, we did hear back in January that we should expect a release later this year. The Shenmue games tell a story of intrigue and mystery as Ryo Hazuki searches for answers to his father's murder and to unlock the mysteries of an artifact called the Dragon's Mirror.
As well as both Japanese and English voice work, there'll also be extra features for PC players, including a choice between retro and contemporary control schemes, and scalable screen resolutions. If you are interested in buying it to relive old times, you will be happy to know that we already know its price.
