Rob Gronkowski Confirms He's Returning to the Patriots

The tight end wrote on his personal Instagram that he had informed Patriots coach Bill Belichick that he "will be back for the 2018 season with the Pats". In 102 career games, he has 474 receptions for 7,479 yards and 76 touchdowns.

Cornerback is another position I can see them taking in the first round. Brady is returning and so is Gronk.

It appeared the Patriots were in danger of losing their offensive coordinator, Hall of Fame quarterback and All-Pro tight end at various points of the offseason. If Brady is able to structure his deal and return, he and Gronk will be the duo the Patriots need to rely upon to make another championship run.

Since joining the Patriots in 2000, Belichick has made 20 draft-day trades to move up, 21 to move down and 21 involving players and/or future considerations. They range from the lofty - 10.5 for the Vikings, Patriots, Steelers, Packers and defending Super Bowl champion Eagles - to the 4.5 assigned to the lowly Browns.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) - The Patriots have mostly been conservative in recent National Football League drafts, often moving down on the board or being content to search for gems in the undrafted player pool. After making just four selections in the 2017 NFL Draft-and none until the third round-the Patriots have two first round picks, two second round picks and a third round pick. So here are some quarterbacks which New England could take in this upcoming draft. L.A. acquired wide receiver Brandin Cooks in the offseason after going 11-5, but does White think they can repeat their success?

At this time previous year, people were starting to project Williams as a top 10 pick in the 2018 draft. When healthy, he's as good as it gets.

Asked what would make him retire, Gronkowski said, "I'm not ready for these types of questions right now".

As for the present, Pats' fans will hope that this puts less strain on the relationship between Gronk and coach Belichick.
