PM Modi visits health & wellness centre in Jangla

Mr Modi's royal welcome will include an event hosted by Prince Charles, during which the heir to the British throne will drive up in a Tata Motors' first-ever electric Jaguar to symbolise the India-UK technical collaboration. Later in the day, the Prime Ministers of both the countries will sign bilateral agreements followed by a press conference at around 1:30 p.m. (Sweden local time).

The company also said it will build the world's most modern aerospace facility in India, besides creating a local supplier base of ancillary systems.

During the visit, he will hold a bilateral meeting with May on April 18 and also have an audience with Prince Charles.

The PM said he and Lofven would also hold talks with top business leaders and discuss future cooperation in areas such as trade and investment, science and technology, clean energy and smart cities. Prime Ministers of Finland, Norway, Denmark and Iceland would also be attending that Summit, being jointly organised by India and Sweden. During Modi's visit, it is also expected to launch an Innovation Association India-Sweden.

There were protests in the United Kingdom during PM Modi's 2015 visit too.

My visit to London presents another opportunity for both countries to infuse fresh momentum to this growing bilateral engagement.

On the second leg of his three-nation visit, Prime Minister Modi will reach London to attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, besides exploring ways to further deepen ties between the two countries.

Modi will make a brief stopover in Berlin on his way back home on Friday and meet German Chancellor Angela Merkel to exchange views on several bilateral, regional and global issues, reports said.
