It's an unconventional love story.

"October", starring Varun Dhawan and Banita Sandhu has shown good growth at the domestic box-office on day two of its release. October collection prediction was for a Rs 7-8 crore opening day intake, but it was clear from the early occupancy rates at theatres that this was not going to happen. The critics praised the Dhawan lad for choosing a film that's quite different from what he is generally associated with.

Noted film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the collections. Biz will have to witness miraculous growth over the weekend + maintain a strong trend on weekdays to leave a mark. October raked in Rs 7.47 crore on its day 2, taking its collection to over Rs 12 crore.

While interacting with the media as well as fans Varun said, "October comes from an extremely special place from my heart because as my career went forward, I just felt that I started becoming more selfish and I wanted to do a selfless character like Dan". You can say that this movie is one of the most awaited movies because it has great cinema presentation and here I am talking about the acting, direction and cinematography work.

But, we have to give to Dhawan for stepping out of his comfort zone and trying something new, which many stars fear to do in today's time. But, if I know the film's cost of production is this much, then it is my duty that whatever fee I have taken or whatever the film's budget is, it is my duty as a person who does well at the box office, that I return that much money. However, Bollywood celebs have given a thumbs up to the Varun Dhawan-Banita Sandhu starrer.
