A Durham, North Carolina restaurant is striking fear into the hearts of eaters with a new dish, tarantula burgers. "Man, I wish I could eat a tarantula burger right now?" The burger can be cooked to the customer's preference, and Bull City Burger describes the tarantula as "lightly salted and oven-baked". You can stay up-to-date on the tarantula challenge by following Bull City Burger on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. The victor has two days to claim their burger.

The Tarantula Burger is a pasture-raised North Carolina beef burger with gruyere cheese, spicy chili sauce and, of course, over-roasted tarantula.
