New 'Venom' Trailer Finally Shows Venom In Action

You can see the trailer below.

And we weren't disappointed.

Hardy teased the film's first trailer would be coming to CinemaCon yesterday.

The second full trailer for Venom was released Monday night, and unlike the first one, it actually showed the title character. Check out the clip below, and tell us how much better it is than Spider-Man 3's down in the comments section.

The movie opens in October and the question remains. Now Venom will have his own movie, and he will be played by the Oscar-nominated Tom Hardy. However, the Venom symbiote has finally been revealed, and it should make comic book fans very happy. But one can hope! Brock moves from NY to San Francisco where he's reinvented as more of antihero instead of a Spider-Man villain.

The leaked footage, embedded below, is pretty grainy but finally shows Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) transforming into the symbiote form. The Symbiote is heard speaking to Eddie several times, but there's also an emphasis on it protecting its new host. We know it's the symbiote, but it's an unpleasant surprise for him.

The film also stars Riz Ahmed, Michelle Williams, Jenny Slate, Reid Scott, and Scott Haze.

Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland) directed the film, which was written by Scott Rosenberg. This trailer does give me some confidence in the movie now.

Venom is now slated to hit theaters on October 5, 2018. Before Captain America: Civil War and the (not so) Amazing Spider-Man series, Sam Raimi helmed a trilogy starring everyone's favorite web-head.
