The new trailer that Bandai Namco shared this morning showcases a shiny new coat of paint and a few of the monstrous bosses that lurk in the shadows.
A remaster of the original Dark Souls was announced by Bandai Namco earlier this year, arriving with various improvements for PC and modern consoles later this year with a $39.99 price tag. However I can't tell from the video of the controls on PC got remastered along with the graphics, but one can hope.
The game will be releasing May 25 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, but you'll get a discount on PC only via Steam if you already own the Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition.More news: Schoolhouse Rock!'s Bob Dorough Dies At 94

Namco is offering existing owners of Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition on Steam a loyalty discount if they decide to upgrade to Dark Souls Remastered. The game will obviously remain playable for those who already own it, it just won't be up for sale past that date.
The trailer doesn't focus on one element of the game or another but is instead like a collection of Dark Souls' greatest hits. The Nintendo Switch version will be available later this summer. In addition, the Solaire of Astora Amiibo has been delayed, as well as the Switch network test.
