J.Cole To Release New Album This Week

First Kendrick Lamar wins the Pulitzer and then J.

The rapper has changed the profile picture on both his Twitter and Instagram to color purple, making fans fans wonder what he has in store for them.

00One of hip-hop's heavyweight, J.Cole, is set to release a new album this week.

If you're a Drake fan, you never really have to wait too long for new music to come out. KOD like, Cole's last two albums, will have no features. He also reported that Cole recorded the album over the span of two weeks, and that the LP seems to be free from any guest contributors.

Cole also announced he'd be hosting a free, first-come, first-served pop-up concert in NY on Instagram, and it was there that the chosen ones (read: the people who got there first) were treated to a listening session for his upcoming album.

The "Love Yourz" rapper reportedly told fans during the last-minute show that K.O.D. has multiple meanings, standing for Kids on Drugs, King Overdosed and Kill Our Dreams, according to XXL.
