Fortnite Server Is Down: What's The Latest Status?

Celebrities, athletes and various high-profile personalities alike have expressed their love for the game, with Fortnite becoming a "pop culture" icon at the turn of 2018. Let's hope Epics Games solve the logging issues quick because millions of players are waiting for the servers to go back up.

You may have to mess with the task manager and kill the Fortnite process - or the Epic Game Launcher - a time or two to get it up and running, but it will eventually work.

Next week, Fortnite players can look forward to more free loot.

The free-to-play game is a third-person shooter in the "Battle Royale" genre - 100 unarmed players parachute to an island, scavenge for supplies, and attempt to survive. Otherwise, keep gathering up those resources and partying with those Llamas, because a Fortnite party is just around the corner for the weekend! "I think an argument could be made for either way being interesting", is what the Epic Games developer wrote. "We'll update you once it's resolved!"

Next, Replay Mode, which was originally shown off at GDC 2018, is also live on PC and console (sorry mobile players), complete with "a suite of cinematic settings [that means] you can now capture your most memorable moments, highlights and cinematics".

All weekly challenges - including those from previous weeks - are unlocked and available for anyone who purchases the Season 3 Battle Pass, which can be had for 950 in-game "V-Bucks", or roughly $10.

The game's most popular streamer, Ninja, has switched games to Radical Heights, another free battle royale game which is found on Steam.

While Epic gets the proper solution together, there's a sneaky quick fix to get in the game. As such, the team reported more issues with login success.

If you've somehow managed to miss the "Fortnite" phenomenon thus far, you may be wondering what this is all about. It's a powerful tool, and one with the potential to considerably shake up how the game plays. Although not explicitly mentioned, bots appear in early matches for new players, likely as a way to help them grow accustomed to the game's controls and mechanics.
