Anish Bhanwala, centre, on Friday created history by becoming India's youngest ever gold medal victor in the Commonwealth Games 2018 in Australia. The 24-year-old demolished his opponent from Wales, Kane Charig to claim Men's Freestyle 65 kg gold medal. With 16 Gold and 34 overall medal, India's now placed third in the medal tally after Australia and England. Wrestlers Sushil Kumar and Rahul Aware won gold in the men's freestyle 74 kg and 57 kg, receptively.

Team-mate Neeraj Kumar, the overnight leader, was second with just a point behind after he had another great round - 98, 98, 92 in the series shot over 8, 6 and 4 seconds.
