Mohammed Shami was in the news after his wife Hasin Jahan leaked his extra-marital affairs with multiple women and accused him of domestic violence.

"I have just received the confirmation from the BCCI that Shami has been absolved of all charges related to corruption allegations".

He then turned to the Abhimanyu Cricket Academy, run by Bengal batsman Abhimanyu Easwaran's father, to "rejuvenate" himself. He was returning to Delhi from Dehradun after training when there was a minor collision with his vehicle.

Shami was on his way to from Dehradun when a truck hit his vehicle from behind. "He got stitches after getting head injuries".

Mohammed Shami's wife Hasin Jahan's allegations have left the country in shock. He is perfectly fine and advised rest for a day. "There is no such injury which can hamper his participation in IPL", Abhimanyu's father Easwaran RP was quoted as saying by the PTI on Sunday.

Earlier this month, Jahan shared screenshots of Shami's personal chat with women by the name of Akanksha and Alishba on her Facebook wall.

Shami has been booked under various non-bailable, including an attempt to murder, and bailable sections.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), however, cleared Shami's central contract on Thursday after its anti-corruption unit exonerated him of corruption charges levelled by Jahan.

Shami has been given a Grade "B" annual contract, which will make him richer by Rs 3 crore. Shami will be playing for Delhi Daredevils in the forthcoming Indian Premier League.
