Karachi set to host Pakistan-West Indies T20Is

The incident forced Pakistan to play almost all of their home matches in the United Arab Emirates.

West Indies are set to become the latest global team to tour Pakistan.

"Lahore had Zimbabwe, PSL2 Final, ICC XI and Sri Lanka".

"I have been working day and night to conclude an agreement with West Indies which I have just finalised an hour ago", Sethi said.

He noted that after the PSL final in Karachi, the city would also host three T20 Internationals against the West Indies in the first week of next week.

Coach Mickey Arthur will be expecting the same wisdom from his batsmen as they need another big total against Lahore who can only spoil Karachi's party if they run in form.

As the third edition of the Pakistan Super League enters its decisive stage, uncertainty remains over how many foreign players will travel to Lahore and Karachi for the two play-off matches and the summit clash.

"This is how we intend to bring Karachi back on map of cricket", he added.

International Cricket Council's security consultant Reg Dickason will visit Karachi during the PSL final to assess security arrangement for the Twenty20 series. "Karachi people should welcome this". But talking about security perspective Najam Sethi said that "They will stay for another week after PSL final and work for the security of West Indies series,".

"Good news! West Indies have agreed to play 3 T20 matches in KARACHI on 1, 2 and 4th April", Sethi tweeted.

"This will be a one-off series.it will be a loss-making enterprise".

Sethi had last year announced a five-year plan that involved the West Indies touring Pakistan every year until 2022, but in January walked back on that claim due to the costs involved.
