Per the terms of the wager, Hurt wore a Tigers jersey on campus as punishment for the Crimson Tide dropping a 26-14 decision to Auburn in the Iron Bowl on November 14.
On Nov. 14, before the Iron Bowl game between the bitter in-state rivals, Barkley said he had a bet with Hurts over the game. "I'm either going to wear an Alabama jersey on TV, or he's going to have to wear (an Auburn jersey) on campus". I've got the jersey coming.
Hurts paid off the bet Thursday, as the school posted a video on its Twitter feed. It didn't really matter, because Alabama won the College Football Playoff anyway and Auburn lost the last two games of its season.
"What's up, Charles", Hurts said.More news: 'Flippy' the burger-flipping robot is taken offline after just one day

"First off I just wanna congratulate Auburn and Auburn family on a successful season this year", said Hurts. "I'm running kind of late for English", Hurts says into a camera.
Hurts added a "Roll Tide" before walking away.
Before parting ways with his trademark dreads and winning a College Football Playoff national championship, the rising junior quarterback agreed to a wager with former NBA legend and current analyst for Inside the NBA on TNT, Charles Barkley.
"Well done, Jalen", Barkley said on the National Basketball Association on TNT after seeing the clip.
