And that means that a lot of thing's are going to change in the MCU - the producers, screenwriters and directors at Marvel Entertainment are going to have a different set of toys to play with.
"We wanted to explore a period before Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury had any idea about any of the other heroes and insane stuff going on in the world", said Feige. Still, while we know that Jeremey Renner was on set, and thus, is part of the big superhero blowout, we have seen nothing of him in the promotion of Avengers: Infinity War.
We know Thanos doesn't take to kindly to the people who fail him (#Pray4Loki), and Gamora not only failed to deliver, she betrayed him, left him behind, became a fully-fledged hero, and got her sister to join her.
Feige's remarks are particularly interesting for two reasons.
I could go on; the bottom line is, Marvel's best option for X-Men and Fantastic Four is a clean start in the MCU, where there will be complete options for lucrative crossovers. A guy in a flying suit of armor, a "god" from another world, and a giant green guy never seem to bother him all that much. They only have one such option: the Infinity Gauntlet, which the cool kids call the Bling Glove of Do-Overs.More news: Trump's economic adviser quits over tariffs

Then there's the idea of Danvers being portrayed as a "singular hero" in her debut.
As one Reddit user, wes205 summed up: 'A mirror villain is one of the easiest ways to tell more about the hero facing them, probably why so many first-outing movies have had them!'
Black Panther, dropping into action. "I will say just the notion of having what, frankly, most other companies with [intellectual property] have all along, which is access to all of their characters, that would be fun". Now, it's just a matter of keeping it all going, and at the end of the day, doing that is harder than setting things up. I'm already struggling to contain myself for the upcoming Avengers films, so I'm not sure I can wait until the release of Captain Marvel next year though. [We're] not necessarily talking about any particulars of the story, but the action elements [are influenced by] Terminator 2. "Like all of our genre inspirations, there are bits and pieces here and there".
"It's all about getting Infinity War finished and out, starting Captain Marvel, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Untitled Avengers, the next Spider-Man, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3".
