Honor 7C smartphone officially unveiled


Unlike its bigger sibling, the Honor 7X, the 7C has a dedicated slot for the latter which is always a welcome feature especially for the buyers it's targetting.

The Honor 7C 3GB RAM and 32GB Storage variant is available for 899 Yuan, while the 4GB and 64GB Storage variant is available for 1299 Yuan.

Huawei's sub-brand Honor announced the official roll out of Face Unlock update for the Honor 7X. Honor 7X sports a 16-megapixel+2-megapixel dual rear camera with Portrait mode, PDAF and LED flash. The front camera packs facial recognition feature as well. On the top, we have a 5.99-inch HD+ display with 2.5D curved glass and it's powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 Mobile Platform.

Now, the company is getting ready to launch yet another affordable smartphone called Honor 7C. Design-wise, the camera is located on the top left corner and is aligned horizontally with an LED flash on the inner edge. It's now available for pre-order in China and goes on from March 13. There is also Face Unlock feature in the phone.

As stated, the Honor 7C offers 3GB/4GB RAM of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage depending on the variant.

Unsurprisingly, the new guy packs a marginally smaller 3000mAh battery too, although its lower-res 1440 x 720 display and modest Snapdragon 450 processor should probably help keep the lights on for a satisfactory amount of time. Another significant aspect of the handset is its rear dual camera setup.

Huawei Honor 7C runs on Android 8 Oreo with a layer of Emoticon EMUI 8 UI. It measures 158.3 × 76.7 × 7.8 mm and weighs 164 grams.

It will be available in Black, Blue, and Gold color options.

The Honor 7C is backed by a 3000 mAh (typical) / 2900 mAh (minimum) non-removable battery and has a rear placed fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options of the phone includes, 4G LTE, 3G, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro-USB, and FM Radio. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
