Google Search results now brings you updates from your fave musicians

In what could damage Twitter's popularity, Google is now allowing USA musicians to post updates directly to its Search result pages.

Google first introduced “Posts” a while back as a way for US Presidential campaigns to reach more people via Google Search results. You can now see some of these posts for artists like Sia, Lorde, Steve Aoki. According to Google, any musician with a Featured Panel can get verified to gain access to start posting to their Featured Panel. However, any musician with a Knowledge Panel can now utilize Google Posts should they choose to do so.

Posts appear inside the Knowledge Panel for an artists and can include text, links, images, videos, and GIFs.

This new feature is rolling our worldwide to all search users and to any musician whose search results include a Google Search Knowledge Panel.

This new concept is made possible through Google Posts, a way for artists to streamline the way they update fans with music, tour dates and other information.
