Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is the second of five all new adventures in J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World.

The Crimes of Grindelwald is months away, but it's already the most controversial entry in the Harry Potter franchise.

Having escaped MACUSA's custody, Grindelwald is now gathering followers across Europe, "most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings". He's broken free of custody and is now gathering followers across the globe to aid him in his true objective: the rule of pure-blood wizards over all non-magical beings.

The clip opens with a return to Hogwarts, with a group of apparently Ministry of Magic ministers "apparating" into the school to question a young Dumbledore (Jude Law) about the goings-on of his protégé, Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne).

His appearance in the film was marred by controversy past year when a number of fans of the wizarding franchise expressed their disappointment in his return after he was accused of domestic violence by ex-wife Amber Heard in 2016.

Of course in an effort to thwart his former friend's nefarious plans, Dumbledore enlists Newt's help.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald also stars Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Zoë Kravitz, Callum Turner, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, and Claudia Kim; it hits theaters November 16th.
