The Moto G6 will sport a far more premium glass sandwich design instead of standard metallic design on older G5 series.
A report from GSMArena cites Nashville Chatter blog that has spilled out more details about the said certification of the Moto G and Moto E phones. As per the reports, the Moto G6, G6 Plus and G6 Play have been listed on both TKDN and NBTC which are certification portals in Malaysia and Thailand respectively.
"We will continue to expand our retail presence and enhance customer experience by making our product portfolio accessible and available to users", Sudhin Mathur, Managing Director, Motorola Mobility India, said in a statement. The Moto G6 series phone range is expected to run the latest Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. A 4000mAh battery is going to power the device. The standard version may likely get the update to Android 8.1 soon. Unlike the Moto G6 Play, the Moto G6 could come with a dual 12MP+5MP rear camera.
To recap, the Moto G6 series is a new mid-range tier of smartphones sporting Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets and will probably go for a Fullview display up to 5.93-inch according to sources.
Coming to the specifications of the Moto G6, the smartphone is expected to be unveiled in three variants that will include Moto G6 Plus, Moto G6, and the Moto G6 Play. The phone is rumoured to come powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor and backed by a 3250mAh battery. Interested buyers will have the option to buy the device in Gold, White, Blue, Silver and Cyan colours. The new update also brings March security patch for the Moto X4 Android One edition.
