David Letterman Will Location Scout for Norm MacDonalds New Netflix Show


Netflix is the world's leading Internet television network with over 100 million members in over 190 countries enjoying more than 125 million hours of TV shows and movies per day, including original series, documentaries and feature films. Today, the latest announcement, Norm Macdonald, is the sixth.

Norm Macdonald's Netflix talk show is a officially a go.

The show is simply called Norm Macdonald Has a Show, and will see Macdonald and his co-host Adam Eget crack jokes and get into deep discussions with their celebrity guests. The streaming service did not offer a premiere date.

Canadian Macdonald was the final stand-up act to appear on The Late Show with David Letterman in 2015.

· Norm Macdonald has a Show is produced under Norm's production banner, Anchor Spud Productions, along with Pygmy Wolf Productions in association with Lionsgate Television. The streamer has followed up Chelsea Handler's short-lived Chelsea with talk entries from Letterman (My Next Guest Needs No Introduction) and Joel McHale (The Joel McHale Show With Joel McHale), along with forthcoming series from Daily Show breakouts Michelle Wolf and Hasan Minhaj.

Co showrunning and EP'ing along with Norm is Lori Jo Koekstra, along with EPs K.P. Anderson and Daniel Kellison.

An actor and comedian, Macdonald was on Saturday Night Live from 1993 to 1998, and anchored Weekend Update. Letterman is repped by CAA.
