Browns Swap Kizer for Green Bay's Randall

Rapoport added that it was last year's second-round pick, quarterback DeShone Kizer, whom the Browns moved in exchange for Randall, who is entering his fourth season.

New Green Bay general manager Brian Gutekunst was a key decision maker in the front office when Ted Thompson picked Randall, but clearly those pushing for Randall now reside in Cleveland. He also played his best game against the Packers-another one of those dual-team connections-a game the Browns realistically should have won.

It stems from the aftermath of the December meeting between the Browns and Packers.

Earlier Friday afternoon, Cleveland reportedly acquired wide receiver Jarvis Landry from the Dolphins and quarterback Tyrod Taylor from the Bills.

They have two of the top four picks in the draft, after all, so they are bound to be able to get at least one of the top four quarterback prospects in a class that is generally considered to be above average for the position. Expect Cleveland to still take a quarterback at the top of the draft with T-Mobile serving as the bridge QB. The Browns are thought to be considering drafting a quarterback with one of their first-round picks. However, his 22 interceptions led the league. Just as he did at Notre Dame, Kizer had accuracy problems and after he threw nine picks in his first five games, Jackson benched him in favor of Kevin Hogan. Minkah Fitzpatrick of Alabama is still in play for the Browns on Draft Day, as he could line up at safety next to Jabrill Peppers.

There have been no reports of any sort of interest on Arizona's side, nor have there been reports of Green Bay seeking a trade.

The move gives Sherman a head start on free agency.

The Browns are going to be a team to watch next season if their flurry of moves Friday is any indication.

Clearly, the Packers weren't satisfied with the way Hundley performed last season after Aaron Rodgers broke his collarbone.
