Redmi Note 5 will be a Flipkart exclusive with a price range starting from Rs. 9,999 for the variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, and Rs. 11,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option. It is the world's first device with Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor.

The Redmi 5 Plus boasts a 5.99-inch display while the Redmi 5 comes with a 5.7-inch display. The familiar antenna lines on the back have been retained from the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, and so is the circular fingerprint sensor. The camera samples for the Redmi Note 5 Pro have not been outed, thanks to GSMArena and they sure show a device with a powerful camera setup. The aspect ratio of the display is 18:9.

Very surprisingly, there is also a front-facing LED flash to illuminate the images, for dark lit surroundings.

Connectivity options on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Micro-USB. The Note 5 Pro starts at INR13,999 for the 4/64GB model and tops out at INR16,999 for the 6/64GB variant. The phone has a dual rear camera with 20MP and 16MP sensor and on the front, there is a 16MP camera. For selfies, there is a 5MP camera.

Smartphone and gadget maker Xiaomi announced the launch of the Mi TV and Redmi Note.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 sports a 12-megapixel rear camera with an aperture of f/2.2, a 1.25-micron pixel size, PDAF, EIS, and an LED flash module.

The cherry on the top for Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro will be Face Unlock, which uses AI-based computing. The feature will be shipped in March this year through OTA update.
